Santa has finally made a holiday appearance at my house!
This is my “Hoo-hoo-hoo” holiday Santa, presented to me by my daughter when she was a first-grader. I hang it up every year to remind her I love her–and to embarrass her a little!
I also have this poor, nude, tree awaiting holiday attention:
But first, I want to take a break and curl up with a good Regency Christmas anthology! Here’s my latest recommendation, 3 Yuletide Wishes:
This new Boroughs Publishing release includes a novella by my friend, author Alanna Lucas.
And speaking of hot, contemporary Christmas romance, I can’t forget my fellow Soul Mate authors’ new release, Sizzle in the Snow:
Pour a cup of hot chocolate or a glass of wine and enjoy a soul-satisfying read!
I’m still looking for more Christmas anthologies–any recommendations? I’d love to hear them!
And before I sign off today, I want to share my favorite first kiss meme from last week’s Historical Romance Network’s #AKissInTime event:
This first kiss (on the heroine’s neck in case you were thinking she had a moustache, LOL) in A Notorious Countess Confesses doesn’t take place until well past the halfway point, probably because the hero is a vicar and the heroine is a retired courtesan.
Julie Anne Long has created amazing and sympathetic characters, a man of the cloth who is neither beta hero nor alpha a**hole, and a brave and resilient heroine. The story is tastefully told and filled with humor–not a holiday story, but heart-warming and highly recommended.
So…more tips, please, for holiday reading! Shoot them over to me on my Facebook page if that’s more convenient!
And now–must go! I have a Douglas Fir needing to be dressed in sparkly holiday attire!
P.S. Almost forgot!!! Come join me December 17-23 at The Romance Studios Christmas Party 2015. There will be lots and lots and lots of giveaways!
