A January Roundup of Spring Events
Wow, it’s the last week of the first month of 2016 already. Time for a January Roundup of upcoming events!
Now, I know the east coast is digging out of snow, but here in Southern California, the coldest nights have passed and spring has sprung.
Here at our house we had certain proof of spring:
Yes, we had our first neighborhood Girl Scout at our door selling cookies!
But back to my roundup! For obvious reasons, February is a big month for romance writers, and I’ll be celebrating at both The Romance Studio and The Romance Reviews.
In April, I’ll be attending my first Romantic Times Booklovers Convention, in good company with about 800 other authors! I’ll be at Club RT on April 13th, from 12:45 to 2:15. If you’re attending, stop by and say hello!
Lots of other good things are happening! I’m working on a new Regency gown for this year’s many events.
I’m using a silver-flecked blue lace over a blue silky fabric. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can pull this off.
I’m also working with a committee of Southern California RWA members planning the March 2017 California Dreamin’ Conference. This is going to be a great conference! If you’re an author or aspiring author, save the dates!
And that’s my January roundup!
Oh…p.s., newsletter subscribers, I’ll be sendng you an early notice of a freebie, plus a February contest giveaway just for you!
