Welcome everyone to my website!  I’m writing this in the middle of January, just a few short weeks away from Valentine’s Day. I don’t know about you, but I find that time is speeding along too quickly. Before we know it, lovers will be ripping into heart-shaped boxes of chocolate, waiting impatiently for tables to clear so they can enjoy a romantic dinner, or making last-minute, frenzied runs to overworked florists.

Lily, an overworked florist, is the heroine of my short story, “A Valentine for Lily”, part of the anthology Romancing the Pages. (More about that on the next page, and be advised, a print edition has just been released this month. Woo hoo!)

Over the years, my own Valentine has been inconsistent about flowers, but he always buys me candy. I expect to get a box from him this year, too, but I’m hoping it’s one of those minis with four or five pieces I can polish off in a few minutes (without sharing). Matter of fact, forget the chocolate and buy me eggnog truffles. Yum!
