The Next Story
I am so excited! Tonight starting at 9 p.m. EST I’ll be chatting with other Soul Mate Publishing authors and readers at Coffee Time Romance. Here’s a link: http://www.coffeetimeromance.com/Chat.html#.UlssYBvn9jo I’ll be discussing my Regency Christmas novella, Rosalyn’s Ring, and giving away copies to three lucky participants.
For the last few weeks I’ve been hard at work on my sequel to Rosalyn’s Ring, telling the story of Miss Harris, the lady who owns the London orphanage where Rosalyn volunteered. Miss Harris is younger and prettier than you might expect, of course, and is ready to have a romance of her own. She has moved most of her children to the country estate Lord Cathmore promised Rosalyn he would purchase, but Miss Harris has remained in London with two little boys, and she cannot leave yet until she finds…well, you’ll see!
I’ve typed “the end” on the first draft, and put the manuscript into the pickle jar for a fresh look in a couple of weeks. That will make for some happy juggling, because in a couple of weeks I’ll be jumping head first into National Novel Writing Month. (http://nanowrimo.org/) My NaNoWriMo project is a contemporary romance, a sequel to last year’s manuscript, a WisRWA Fab Five contest winner.
Meanwhile, if you have a chance, stop by tonight and chat with me and authors Jenn Langston, Patricia Fischer, Janna Shay, and Casse Narome at Coffee Time Romance. Here’s that link again: http://www.coffeetimeromance.com/Chat.html#.UlssYBvn9jo
