What I’ve Been Up To Lately: #Cover Reveal for THE COUNTERFEIT LADY
I’m super-excited to share the cover of my next book, The Counterfeit Lady!
WordPress is not liking big image files, so I’ve had to reduce it. I’ve included the blurb below, so don’t strain your eyes!
The Counterfeit Lady is the fourth book in the Sons of the Spy Lord series. If you’ve been keeping up with the series, you know I’ve run out of sons for Lord Shaldon! The only child left is his daughter, Lady Perry, and of course, she had to have her own romance.
My print proof copies arrive this week, yay! I’ll have more information soon on pre-orders.
Here’s the blurb:
Freedom!
Vowing she’ll never submit to an arranged marriage, an earl’s daughter bolts for the remote seaside cottage that should be hers upon marriage.
But instead of a quiet respite from her controlling family, she finds her refuge occupied by the last man she ever wants to see again—an American artist, who’s also a thief.
And quite possibly one of her father’s spies.
And after this one…
I’m hard at work on a Book 5 for this series, with an editorial deadline in mid May. I wrote the first four books of this series a couple of years ago, and didn’t contemplate a Book 5. But as I went through edits on those first four manuscripts, the stories changed and developed and I soon realized I had one more unmarried member of the Everly family.
I haven’t been Facebooking or blogging as much as I like to because, though I’m close to the end, this story still needs a lot of work! Plus, when my little grandbaby appears on my doorstep, I drop everything (except him, of course!).
I’ll be heading to Charlottesville, VA and Pittsburgh, PA next month for some family events, but I plan to squeeze in the writing and check in on social media. This will be a road trip, so I hope the weather gods cooperate!
How is your 2018 spring shaping up?
