What I’ve Been Up To…#amrevising
Edits are back and now I #amrevising…
I’ve been hard at work on revisions for the fifth book in my Sons of the Spy Lord series (which will involve a duel!). This book’s working title is Avenging the Earl’s Lady. The writing has been challenging because I had a short (for me) window to complete the first draft, and my time during that window was filled to the brim with family obligations, interruptions, and travel.
My editor has come back with some really great observations and suggestions, so I’m diving back into this story world at every opportunity, with a November 5, 2018 release date on the horizon. Check out my Pinterest Board for this book!
A Secret Project
As soon as I send off Avenging the Earl’s Lady for line edits, I’m going to start a manuscript for a group project involving about 150 other authors, scheduled to release in October 2019. This new story will be set in Yorkshire in 1821. More details to follow!
On the Home Front
The flu-bug hit us hard in May, so (cough-cough-cough) I’ve been busy with nursing duties and, when I’m well, lots of baby-sitting.
My daughter is a free-lance model and yogi, a perfect career for a busy new mom. (You can find her on Instagram as kozyshay.)
Much as I’d like to sit at my computer all day writing, I can’t say “no” to the chance to spend more time with this guy. I do enjoy his naps, though, LOL!
Research
I’ve been researching midsummer supernatural creatures for my quarterly blog (called Quarter Days) at A Slice of Orange. Come check out my latest article at asliceoforange.net scheduled for June 28th.
