London Waterways (of a Different Sort!)
Uh-oh! I’m crunching deadlines for a book and the upcoming California Dreamin’ Conference, as well as spending hours and hours on the phone dealing with medical insurance issues, so here’s a link to a post I wrote at Historical Hussies on London Waterways (of the smellier variety):
It’s not a subject often mentioned in historical romance novels, but historical London was very likely a smelly place. By 1815, it was believed to be the largest city in the world, and that mass of humanity created waste that required removal.
How did the ladies of the ton deal with it? Read the rest at Historical Hussies!
And, from now through the California Dreamin’ Conference on April 5th, I’ll be posting here every other week. Thanks for following me here!
