Christmas in September: The Marquess and the Midwife
I’m excited to share that my 2016 Christmas novella, The Marquess and the Midwife, is well on its way!
The manuscript is in edits, and the cover is underway, including this warm, Christmas-y image!
In The Marquess and the Midwife, the “spare” marquess who succeeded his brother returns to England from a self-imposed exile, determined to find the woman he loved and lost. He expects the search to be difficult, and decides to enlist the help of his host and friend Lord Hackwell (from my 2014 novel, Bella’s Band). The search turns out to be quite easy, as the heroine is also a guest of the Hackwells–and the midwife attending to Lady Hackwell’s lying-in!
More to follow on this holiday story! Meanwhile, I’m doing some traveling and also participating in a blog exchange with a bunch of romance authors, the Fall #RomanticTravel blog exchange.
I hope you enjoy the authors taking over my blog site and their posts about their favorite romantic travel destinations.
I’ll be posting on Facebook and Twitter my own guest blog stops where I’m sharing an excerpt from Bella’s Band, and writing about one of my favorite romantic destinations. I’ve blogged before about this western town frequented by Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday, including this post about The McPhail.
Please stop by, check out the guest blogs, and let us know about your favorite romantic destination!
