Caverns and a Coach
I spent another day goofing off instead of writing.
This morning I toured the Rotunda and the Throne Room at Kartchner Caverns in southern Arizona. Two young spelunkers discovered the caverns in 1974 on private land. The state of Arizona has done a magnificent job of making the caves accessible to the public while still protecting the delicate environment.

Then we went on to Tombstone, where I was almost run over by a pair of Clydesdales:
Aren’t they beautiful? I stepped out into the street (which was closed to cars) to get a better picture.
Who knew they were making a turn?
Happily, I got a close look at the stagecoach and an opportunity to confirm that it had a door on each side. I say happily, because it reinforced an important detail in Bella’s Band, my upcoming sequel to Rosalyn’s Ring.
Details to follow!
