  1. I empathize. I also suffer from housekeeping inferiority when I see photos of some people’s work spaces. It doesn’t matter if it’s their home office, their craft room, or their sewing room.

    • It’s seems like such a waste to spend minute dusting when the dust is just coming back very soon, especially at my house where we have pets and mostly open windows.

  2. I love the quote! Sometimes garages are nice. Ours is quite nice. It is my husbands workplace so it has insulation heaters, fans etc. and if yours is private fix you up a corner!

  3. I stare at the garage every day and daydream about turning it into my dream writing space, so I’m not rolling my eyes at that one. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I read somewhere that writing in a variety of places can be good for a writer. I’ve had my go-rounds with different spaces, so I do appreciate a desk now. Late at night or early in the morning, my bed is the perfect place. I love the quote you shared.

  5. The garage sounds as though it definitely had its selling points. And have you noticed how those of us with messy desks are belligerently proud of it?
