Making a Ten Year Plan: #MFRWAuthor Blog Challenge, Week 32 — 18 Comments

  1. Awww, what a sweet face! Congratulations on the new grandbaby! Good point about looking back to see what changes the last decade brought. I think I might just go do that now. It’s good to take stock.

    • Sometimes we don’t give ourselves enough credit for what we’ve been able to get through in the past!

  2. Absolutely a handsome dude! Having grandchildren is one of my ten years from now goals. I like your point of looking back on the past ten years, I may have to sit down with the hubby and discuss where we were ten years ago, and where we want to be together in ten years. He’s been feeling rather stuck lately. I like that approach. Thank you for sharing, and for sharing the grandbaby!

    • Thanks, Ellie. I wish you good health and many beautiful grandbabies. This little guy came as a surprise to us, but we wouldn’t trade him for the world!

  3. Aww cute little boy. Looks like he’s smiling in that picture. Congrats on the new addition. Looking back was a good idea. It did make me realize that I could not be here today if I’d waited any longer ten years ago to call 911.

    • Wow, Meka, I hope you share that story in one of the blog posts. Sounds scary, and I’m glad you’re here to hop along with us every week.

  4. Congrats on your new grandson! It’s good to look back and see how far you’ve come… I’m sorry for your losses, but happy for your joys. Good luck putting those ISBNs to use!

    • Thanks, Robin. Losing people you love is so hard, but that goes with living, I guess!

  5. Congratulations!! He’s sooooo cute!!!!

Yes, ten years ago, we’d lost our house and were 5 people crammed into a 2 BRM 1 BA house. I also only had 2 self-pubbed books and the promotion wasn’t that promising. Now, we’ve managed to buy a 3 RM 2 BA house; I’ve pubbed 21 books, and just signed with Publisher #4. The future is looking brighter, career-wise:)
